With newly released feature ‘Travel with a style‘, a validation run was necessary to try out the auto-suggestion and see if there is a match. Soon our turn-key-consultant, Parasa Kiran, charted out a plan to cover these places on his 500cc TB. With him joined Travel enthusiast Vipul. Key photographer and traveller Joydeep Majumdar had to drop out due to his other engagements. Following is the transcript from their ride.
” Had been working late night and going for ride early morning was a task. Still called up Vipul and other folks and gave co-ordinates of meeting point.
“Following was the original plan
But we could only start by 8:00 as we had problems with arresting tent in fixed position on the bike.. Due to constant movement there were chances that it would fall.. Must make better arrangements next time onwards.. More ever, we got to know that reaching early at gandikota is of little use a temperature was really high and tents would be pitched only after 5:00PM to avoid scroching heat.
We logged into TripMantu and from saved plan for this trip moved belum caves up in the chart. Within seconds got new plan charted out. Following is the new plan.
All was set now, Vipul and me started as per plan.. Took couple of halts in between to stretch our legs and backs and finally reached belum at around 1:15 PM.
After having lunch we headed to Caves ( prices costing at INR 60/- each).. Took few pictures and within half hour we were done exploring caves. Some of them are said to be around 3Kms. Lighting of caves has been done artistically and that adds to its worth.. archaeologists will be amazed to see tunnel after tunnels running deep into the boulders. The buddha statue out side caves is a big attraction to try out photography.
At around 4:00 we left and headed towards Gandikota and reached there at around 5:30 PM.
Checked out fort, monuments and secnic gorge view.. The place is awesome and great for photography.
After spending an hour there we headed to check accomodation and settled for a tent in the tent mela outside the fort.. Around 100 tents were already pitched in… Night stay is something to experience and can’t be put in words.. Go to gandikota and make a halt. Some pictures to get a feel of it..
Next morning after having breakfast we set our course to see the penna river.. 300 Mt deep gorge is little difficult to traverse. I am not a good blogger to explain the beauty of the place, you must be there to experience it.
Headed back to bangalore at around 12:00 PM and reached back home at 6:30.
It was a great ride and timings approximates to what TripMantu plan suggested.
One and all, Gandikota fits well for Liesure Style. So, why to wait, go and try it out.
As per TripMantu plan is concerned, almost 100% plan match was seen for this ride. That ends our validation for ‘travel with style’ feature. ” – Parasa Kiran
That being transcript from Kiran’s diary, we suggest you pack your bags and head for a night halt at Gandikota. Reach out to our helpline for any queries ( +91-7676026254 )

18 Feb 2019Hi All,
My self vipul, who have joined kiran on this ride.
Would like to take an opportunity to thanks kiran for introducing me to such an awesome product.
Inspite of changing the plan in mid way of trip, thiis application helped us with accurate time calculations and guidance.
Now no need to open google and check the map, time, route and see what comes 1st what next.
This application does everything for us with no extra effort and save lots of time.
One wrong route can spoil the whole trip. But no more. TripMantu is all about this.
When we are getting all of this at just the cost of a ##, then what else is required.
Thanks again to TripMantu and Kiran for this awesome experience.
Guys keep planning your trips and keep riding.
Take care Ride safe.
Regards,
Vipul
